Engineering & Fabrication Capabilities

TNI combines a multi-discipline design team (piping & structure, process, tanks & vessels) with hands-on fabrication management, so our drawings go straight to the shop and site changes are minimised.

Engineering organisation

The engineering department is led by the Engineering Manager with three discipline groups: Piping & Structure, Process and Tanks & Vessels. Design engineers and draftsmen produce models and drawings, while the Fabrication Manager and Procurement team secure materials and fabrication schedules.

Fabrication capabilities

• Stainless steel equipment: storage and mixing tanks, IBC/square tanks, static mixers, filter housings, vent filters, resin traps, venturi ejectors, sleeve pipes.
• Skid packages: pump, chemical dosing, sampling and instrumentation demo skids, complete with frame, piping, valves and instruments.
• Piping & structures: stainless/carbon steel process piping, hygienic piping, pipe supports, platforms, stairs and handrails.
• Typical materials: SUS304/304L, SUS316L and carbon steel; other materials as specified.

Project experience

• ASME VIII-1 pressure vessel design for a site in Australia.
• 3D piping design, isometrics and stress analysis for sites in Australia and New Zealand.
• UF, compressed air, chemical dosing, pump and instrumentation skids, including skids for sites in Japan.
• GA layouts and piping for multiple water and wastewater treatment systems.
