Skid & Equipment Fabrication
TNI designs and fabricates stainless steel equipment and skid packages tailored to each project. Skids are fully assembled in the shop with frame, piping, valves and instruments, shortening installation time on site.
Skid packages
Pump skids
Pumps, suction and discharge piping, valves, Y-strainers, pressure gauges on a common base frame.
Chemical dosing skids
Chemical tanks, dosing pumps, safety valves, back-pressure valves, pulsation dampeners.
Sampling skids
Sample lines, sample coolers, needle valves and analyser panels.
Instrumentation demo skids
Display and test frames for flow, pressure and level instruments.
Stainless steel equipment
- Storage tanks, mixing tanks, IBC/square tanks.
- Static mixers, cartridge filter housings, tank vent filters.
- Resin traps, venturi ejectors, wall sleeve pipes.
- Materials: SUS304/304L, SUS316L, carbon steel; flanged, clamp or threaded connections as required.
Fabrication process
- Shop drawings, ITP and welding procedures approved.
- Material inspection against certificates (MTR).
- Cutting, forming and welding to WPS/PQR; TIG welding with back purging for stainless pipe.
- Weld inspection (VT, PT, RT as required) and dimensional checks.
- Pressure testing, pickling and passivation (to ASTM A380/A967 when specified).
- Equipment installation, wiring (if in scope) and factory acceptance test (FAT).
- Packing and delivery with the quality dossier.
Cost-saving tips
- Size skid frames around common steel sections and shipping container dimensions.
- Group instruments and valves on one side for easy operation and maintenance.
- Specify the right surface finish (No.1, 2B, polished) – hygienic finishes only where product contact requires it.
